How to name ports on Draytek 3910 Router
On the Draytek Vigor 3910 router, you can name ports for easier identification and management.

Here's how to do it:

1. **Access the Router's Web Interface:**
- Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address (usually 192.168.1.1) in the address bar.
- Log in with your router's username and password.

2. **Navigate to Objects Settings:**
- In the router's web interface, go to the "Object Settings" section. The exact location of this section may vary depending on the firmware version, but you typically find it under the "LAN" or "LAN >> General Setup" menu.

3. **Create Port Names:**
- Look for an option related to port management or port configuration.
- You should see a list of LAN ports (e.g., LAN1, LAN2, etc.) or WAN ports (e.g., WAN1, WAN2, etc.) depending on the router model.
- Click on the port you want to name (e.g., LAN1 or WAN1).

4. **Assign a Name:**
- In the port settings, you'll find an option to assign a name or description to the port.
- Enter a descriptive name for the port (e.g., "Office PC," "Guest Network," "VoIP Phone," etc.).

5. **Save the Configuration:**
- After entering the name, save the port configuration.

6. **Repeat for Other Ports (If Needed):**
- If you want to name multiple ports, repeat the process for each port individually.

7. **Apply the Configuration:**
- Once you have named the ports, make sure to apply the configuration or save your changes.

The names you assign to the ports will help you identify and manage devices connected to specific ports more easily. This can be especially useful for keeping track of which devices are connected to which LAN or WAN ports.

Please note that the exact steps and options may vary slightly depending on the firmware version of your Draytek Vigor 3910 router. This will NOT work for firmware version 4.3.2.4. If you're unable to locate the port naming settings, refer to the router's user manual or Draytek' s official documentation for detailed instructions related to port naming.
