How to Find All Your Pictures on Windows 10
Method 1: Using File Explorer
- Open File Explorer. You can do this by pressing the Windows key + E or by clicking on the "File Explorer" icon in the taskbar.
- In the left-hand navigation pane, click on "This PC" or "Computer" to search your entire computer.
- In the search box in the top-right corner of the File Explorer window, type a common image file format extension such as ".jpg", ".png", ".jpeg", etc. You can also search for all image formats at once by using the asterisk wildcard ().
- As you start typing, Windows will begin searching for files with the specified extension in real time. Once the search is complete, you'll see a list of all image files matching the search criteria.
- You can then browse through the search results to find all your pictures.
- Type "Photos" in the Windows search bar and click on the "Photos" app from the search results to open it.
- Once the Photos app is open, click on the "Collection" tab on the left-hand side.
- By default, the Collection tab displays your photos sorted by date. You can scroll through the timeline to find your pictures.
- You can also use the search bar at the top right of the Photos app to search for specific pictures based on their names or tags.
- Click on the search bar in the taskbar or press the Windows key and start typing. As you type, you'll see instant search results.
- Type keywords like "Pictures," "Photos," or a specific image file format like "JPEG" to see relevant results.
- You can click on the "See all" link under the "Apps" section to open the File Explorer search window with the search term pre-filled.
- Click on the Windows icon in the lower-left corner to launch the Start menu.
- Alternatively, you can type "File Explorer" or open "File Explorer.
- Now, type kind:=picture into the Search box in the top-right of the window.
